Hi, so this is me, a teacher in my 40's. Been teaching for the last 12 years, at 3 different rural schools. I have learned so much, yet I know that there is so much more out there to learn!
In 2021, I started my Structured Literacy journey, became a team leader of the Junior School, and helped awhi two teachers that were in my team.
2022 brought a change of levels, new teachers and new relationships. It also brought intervention time, senior leadership, and a better understanding of neuro-diversity.
This blog follows my learning journey, link my journey to the teaching standards, allow me to reflect and make changes and have something that will follow me through my teaching.
